Complete guide to using Suno
Use the Suno Boost Style API on ApiPass to expand short, vague, or incomplete music style ideas into richer Suno-ready style prompts. Submit a style seed such as Pop, Mysterious, retrieve the enhanced text through the unified Jobs workflow, and use the result in a later Suno music generation request.

Suno Boost Style is a style-enhancement workflow for music generation prompts. It does not generate audio. Instead, it turns compact music style text into a more detailed description that can include genre, mood, arrangement, vocal character, instrumentation, tempo, and sonic texture. ApiPass exposes this capability through /api/v1/jobs/createTask and /api/v1/jobs/recordInfo, so developers can submit a task, save the returned ApiPass taskId, query the final record, deserialize resultJson, and read resultJson.data.result as the enhanced style text.
Expand brief prompts such as Pop, Mysterious or jazz trio, warm into more complete descriptions for downstream Suno music generation workflows.
Create a task with /api/v1/jobs/createTask, save data.taskId, and query /api/v1/jobs/recordInfo to retrieve the final style result. The Create Task HTTP 200 response is not the final enhanced text.
Provide callBackUrl to receive completion notifications. Callback payloads follow the same structure as the Query Task API response, making polling and webhook handling consistent.
Start with a concise style seed and receive an expanded prompt that is better suited for music generation. The output can add useful musical detail while preserving the original creative direction.
This endpoint returns enhanced style text only. It does not create audio, so you can review, edit, store, or pass the result into later Suno requests that accept a style description.
Although style enhancement normally completes quickly, ApiPass still uses the unified task model. Clients should handle waiting, generating, success, and fail states and read failCode or failMsg when a task fails.
Build an assistant that helps users turn rough genre and mood notes into richer style descriptions before they generate music.
Convert compact presets like cinematic pop, warm jazz, or dark electronic into more detailed reusable style text for templates and production workflows.
Add a preprocessing step before Suno generation, cover, or related music requests so users can improve the style prompt without manually writing a full production brief.
Use Suno Boost Style as a prompt enhancement step, not as an audio generation endpoint.
POST /api/v1/jobs/createTask returns an ApiPass data.taskId. Save this ID and query /api/v1/jobs/recordInfo to retrieve the final task record. Do not treat the Create Task HTTP 200 response as the enhanced style text.
When the task state is success, deserialize data.resultJson and read resultJson.data.result. That value is the enhanced style description to use in a later Suno request.
The only business input field is input.content. Extra unknown input fields are not forwarded upstream, and prompt or style cannot replace content for this endpoint.
Use the optional channel parameter to choose auto, starter, regular, or official routing. The default auto value lets ApiPass allocate tasks based on available provider pricing and stability.
Successful resultJson may include resultJson.data.creditsConsumed, which reports the upstream credit consumption value returned for the style enhancement task.
Callbacks are sent only when callBackUrl is provided in the Create Task request. If callBackUrl is omitted, no callback notifications are sent.
Write a short, music-focused description such as Pop, Mysterious or Dreamy synth-pop, female vocal, cinematic, nostalgic, medium tempo. Avoid full lyrics, URLs, JSON strings, or unrelated text.
Send a POST request to https://api.apipass.dev/api/v1/jobs/createTask with model set to suno/boost-style and input.content set to your style description. Add callBackUrl if you want a completion webhook.
Query /api/v1/jobs/recordInfo with the returned ApiPass taskId. When state is success, deserialize resultJson and copy resultJson.data.result into a later Suno generation, cover, or other request that accepts style text.
The API page shows the parameter schema, but Suno also has several business-specific mode combinations and callback rules that are easy to miss.
All APIs require authentication via Bearer Token.
Authorization: Bearer
Submit a Suno Boost Style task to expand a short or vague music style description into a fuller Suno-ready style prompt.
The API accepts a JSON payload with the following structure:
1{
2 "model": "suno/boost-style",
3 "callBackUrl": "string (optional)",
4 "channel": "auto",
5 "input": {
6 "content": "string"
7 }
8}modelRequiredstringThe public model name. For this endpoint it must be fixed as suno/boost-style.
"suno/boost-style"
callBackUrlOptionalstringCallback URL for task completion notifications. If omitted, no callback will be sent.
"https://your-domain.com/api/callback"
channelOptionalstringYou may specify the corresponding provider within APIPASS via the channel parameter; these providers handle the actual image and video generation tasks. APIPASS currently offers three provider options:
The default value for the channel parameter is auto. When enabled, APIPASS automatically allocates tasks across available providers based on real-time pricing and stability metrics to balance minimal cost and reliable performance. Retain the default auto value unless you have custom routing requirements.
Available options:
auto
The input object contains the following parameters:
input.contentRequiredstringThe music style description to enhance. It must be a non-empty string and is the only business field currently accepted by the ApiPass style enhancement API.
Use short, clear keywords or phrases such as Pop, Mysterious or jazz trio, warm. Avoid full lyrics, URLs, JSON strings, or text unrelated to music.
