Complete guide to using Suno
Use the Suno MP4 API on ApiPass to convert a completed Suno music track into an MP4 music video with visualizations. Submit the ApiPass task ID of the completed source music task and the target audio track ID, optionally add author and brand text, then poll the asynchronous task until the video URL is ready.

The Suno MP4 API creates music videos from existing completed Suno music generation or extension results. It does not accept direct audio URLs. Instead, the request must reference the ApiPass task ID (task_xxx) of the completed source music task and the audioId of a track from that same task. ApiPass returns a new MP4 task ID for polling through /api/v1/jobs/recordInfo, and successful results provide MP4 URLs in resultJson.resultUrls.
Convert a selected completed Suno audio track into an MP4 music video with visualizations. The input uses taskId and audioId so the video is generated from a verified source music record rather than an external audio URL.
Add optional author text for the video cover and optional domainName text as a bottom watermark. Both fields support up to 50 characters and can be omitted when no text overlay is needed.
Create Task is asynchronous. A successful creation response means the request was accepted and returns an ApiPass task ID. Poll /api/v1/jobs/recordInfo or configure callBackUrl to receive the final success or fail payload.
Create an MP4 video with visualizations based on a generated music track. This turns an audio-only result into shareable audiovisual content for music apps, creator tools, social workflows, and content pipelines.
Use taskId and audioId together to identify exactly which completed track should become a video. The audioId must belong to the referenced task, helping keep video generation tied to the intended music result.
Track task state through waiting, queuing, generating, success, or fail. When callBackUrl is provided, ApiPass posts the completion payload to your endpoint using the same response structure as Query Task.
Let users turn generated songs into MP4 music videos with visualizations, cover signatures, and branded watermark text ready for publishing or sharing.
Build workflows that take completed music generation results, create video versions asynchronously, and publish the returned MP4 URLs into social or content-management systems.
Add author and domainName fields to produce music videos with clear creator attribution and brand presence while keeping the request payload compact.
Use the correct task IDs at each step to avoid common source-record errors.
input.taskId is the ApiPass task ID (task_xxx) returned by /api/v1/jobs/createTask for the completed suno/generate or suno/extend task; ApiPass maps it to the provider task ID automatically. The new task_xxx value returned when you create this MP4 task is the ApiPass MP4 task ID and should only be used with /api/v1/jobs/recordInfo, not as the source taskId.
input.audioId must be the target track ID from the same source task, typically sunoData[].id or resultJson.data[].id in normalized ApiPass results. Do not pass an audioUrl and do not mix IDs from different tasks.
Create Music Video consumes 4 credits per task. A successful create response confirms the asynchronous request was accepted; continue polling until the state becomes success or fail.
Use the channel parameter to route through auto, starter, regular, or official providers. The default auto option lets ApiPass allocate tasks based on real-time pricing and stability metrics.
Official video files are documented as retained for 14 days. Download and persist important MP4 results promptly, even when ApiPass returns a CDN URL.
Generate or extend music first and wait until the source task is complete. From the successful result, collect the ApiPass taskId (task_xxx) of that music task and the target track audioId.
Send a POST request to /api/v1/jobs/createTask with model set to suno/mp4, plus input.taskId and input.audioId. Optionally include author, domainName, callBackUrl, and channel.
Use the returned ApiPass task_xxx ID with /api/v1/jobs/recordInfo. When state is success, parse resultJson if it is a JSON string and read resultUrls[] to get the generated MP4 URL.
The API page shows the parameter schema, but Suno also has several business-specific mode combinations and callback rules that are easy to miss.
All APIs require authentication via Bearer Token.
Authorization: Bearer
Submit an asynchronous Suno MP4 task that converts a completed ApiPass Suno music track into a music video with visualizations.
The API accepts a JSON payload with the following structure:
1{
2 "model": "suno/mp4",
3 "callBackUrl": "string (optional)",
4 "channel": "auto",
5 "input": {
6 "taskId": "string",
7 "audioId": "string",
8 "author": "string (optional)",
9 "domainName": "string (optional)"
10 }
11}modelRequiredstringThe public model name. This value must be fixed as suno/mp4.
"suno/mp4"
callBackUrlOptionalstringCallback URL for task completion notifications. If omitted, no callback will be sent.
"https://your-domain.com/api/callback"
channelOptionalstringYou may specify the corresponding provider within APIPASS via the channel parameter; these providers handle the actual image and video generation tasks. APIPASS currently offers three provider options:
The default value for the channel parameter is auto. When enabled, APIPASS automatically allocates tasks across available providers based on real-time pricing and stability metrics to balance minimal cost and reliable performance. Retain the default auto value unless you have custom routing requirements.
Available options:
auto
The input object contains the following parameters:
input.taskIdRequiredstringCompleted ApiPass Suno music generation or extension task ID. The target audioId must belong to this task.
Use the ApiPass task ID (task_xxx) returned by /api/v1/jobs/createTask for the completed suno/generate or suno/extend task; ApiPass maps it to the provider task ID automatically. Do not use the new task ID returned by this MP4 request.
"task_yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy"
input.audioIdRequiredstringThe specific audio track ID to convert into an MP4 music video. It must belong to the task referenced by input.taskId.
Use the track ID from sunoData[].id or the normalized ApiPass resultJson.data[].id. Do not pass an audioUrl.
"music-audio-id"
input.authorOptionalstringAuthor or creator name displayed on the video cover.
Maximum length is 50 characters. Omit this field when you do not want author text on the video cover.
"ApiPass Music"
input.domainNameOptionalstringDomain name, website, or brand text displayed as a watermark at the bottom of the video.
Maximum length is 50 characters. Omit this field when you do not want brand text displayed at the bottom of the video.
"apipass.dev"

messageResponse message. When the request fails, this contains the error description.
data.taskIdThe newly created ApiPass MP4 task ID. Use this ID with the Query Task API to poll this video task.
