Complete guide to using Suno
Use the suno/voice-record-info API on ApiPass to query custom voice generation records, track provider status values, and retrieve the final voiceId when a Generate Voice workflow completes. This endpoint is designed for asynchronous voice creation pipelines where clients need a reliable task status layer and optional callback notifications.

suno/voice-record-info is a status-query model for Suno custom voice generation records. After you create a validation phrase and submit validation audio through the Generate Voice workflow, this endpoint checks the provider task record and returns the current status, error details, and voiceId when the custom voice is ready. ApiPass wraps the provider record-info query inside the unified Jobs API: first create a query task with /api/v1/jobs/createTask, then use /api/v1/jobs/recordInfo with the returned ApiPass taskId to retrieve the unified result.
Query the provider task ID returned by suno/voice-generate and retrieve the latest custom voice generation state. Supported provider statuses include wait_processing, processing_validate, processing_validate_fail, wait_validating, success, and fail.
ApiPass creates a unified task record for the query. Use data.taskId from /api/v1/jobs/createTask to monitor the query through /api/v1/jobs/recordInfo, keeping your integration consistent with other asynchronous ApiPass Jobs API workflows.
Provide callBackUrl during task creation to receive completion notifications. Callback payloads follow the same structure as the Query Task API response, so your application can handle polling and webhook-based updates with one response parser.
When the provider status becomes success, parse resultJson and read data.voiceId. Before success, voiceId may be empty; this is expected and should not be treated as a response format error.
The API exposes workflow-specific status values so clients can decide whether to query again, collect validation audio, restart the workflow, or display an error from errorCode and errorMessage.
This endpoint does not generate new voice content. It queries an existing custom voice generation record and stores the provider response in the unified ApiPass task result.
Build dashboards that show each custom voice generation task, the current status, validation progress, completion time, and final voiceId when the voice becomes available.
Guide users from validation phrase creation to validation recording, voice generation, record-status polling, and final voice availability checks in a single onboarding flow.
Use callBackUrl to trigger downstream actions when a voice record query completes, such as storing voiceId, notifying users, or enabling the new custom voice in a music generation interface.
Use this endpoint as one step in the broader custom voice workflow. It is a record query API, not a voice generation API.
input.taskId must be the provider task ID returned by suno/voice-generate. Do not pass the ApiPass task_xxx ID from /api/v1/jobs/createTask as input.taskId. After creating the query task, use the returned ApiPass data.taskId only with /api/v1/jobs/recordInfo.
A successful ApiPass query response means the record query completed. To know whether the custom voice itself is ready, parse data.resultJson and inspect data.status. Only status success means voiceId should be populated.
This endpoint queries an existing voice generation record and does not create new voice content.
The current routing migration does not create additional model_credit_rules for suno/voice-record-info unless your deployment configures a separate rule for this model.
Use status-aware polling intervals and callbacks to avoid unnecessary repeated queries while still keeping users informed about validation, processing, success, or failure states.
Call suno/voice-validate to generate the validation phrase, then call suno/voice-generate with the validation recording. Keep the provider task ID returned by suno/voice-generate.
Send a POST request to /api/v1/jobs/createTask with model set to suno/voice-record-info and input.taskId set to the provider task ID from suno/voice-generate. Optionally include callBackUrl and channel.
Use data.taskId from the Create Task response to call /api/v1/jobs/recordInfo. Parse data.resultJson to read status, voiceId, errorCode, and errorMessage. When status is success, store voiceId for later custom voice use.
The API page shows the parameter schema, but Suno also has several business-specific mode combinations and callback rules that are easy to miss.
All APIs require authentication via Bearer Token.

Create an ApiPass unified task that queries the status of a Suno custom voice generation record.
The API accepts a JSON payload with the following structure:
1{
2 "model": "suno/voice-record-info",
3 "callBackUrl": "string (optional)",
4 "channel": "auto",
5 "input": {
6 "taskId": "voice-generate-provider-task-id"
7 }
8}modelRequiredstringThe model name. For this endpoint, it must be fixed to suno/voice-record-info.
"suno/voice-record-info"
callBackUrlOptionalstringCallback URL for task completion notifications. If omitted, no callback will be sent.
"https://your-domain.com/api/callback"
channelOptionalstringYou may specify the corresponding provider within APIPASS via the channel parameter; these providers handle the actual task execution. APIPASS currently offers these provider options:
The default value for the channel parameter is auto. When enabled, APIPASS automatically allocates tasks across available providers based on real-time pricing and stability metrics to balance minimal cost and reliable performance. Retain the default auto value unless you have custom routing requirements.
Available options:

The input object contains the following parameters:
input.taskIdRequiredstringThe APIPASS provider task ID returned by the suno/voice-generate task. ApiPass also accepts input.task_id and input.task as aliases.
Use the provider task ID returned by suno/voice-generate, not the ApiPass task_xxx ID returned by /api/v1/jobs/createTask.
