Complete guide to using Suno
Use the Suno WAV API on ApiPass to convert a completed Suno music track into a high-quality, uncompressed WAV file. Submit the ApiPass task ID of the completed source music task and the target audio ID, then query the asynchronous ApiPass task until the WAV URL is ready.

The Suno WAV API converts a specific track from a completed Suno music generation or extension task into WAV format. It does not accept arbitrary audio URLs, uploaded files, filenames, or audio IDs from unrelated tasks. The request must reference a valid completed music record using its ApiPass taskId (task_xxx) and a matching audioId. WAV conversion is asynchronous: a successful create response means the conversion request was accepted, while the final WAV file is retrieved later through the Query Task API or a callback.
Convert a generated or extended Suno track into a high-quality uncompressed WAV file for editing, mastering, archival workflows, publishing pipelines, and applications that require broad audio compatibility.
Create a conversion task with /api/v1/jobs/createTask, store the returned ApiPass task_xxx ID, and query /api/v1/jobs/recordInfo until the task state becomes success or fail.
Provide callBackUrl when creating the task to receive the final task result automatically. The callback content uses the same structure as the Query Task API response.
Generate WAV files from completed music tracks when your workflow needs uncompressed audio for editing, post-production, compatibility, or long-term asset handling.
The API requires the ApiPass taskId of the completed source music task and a matching audioId from the same music result. This prevents accidental conversion of the wrong track and keeps source records traceable.
After conversion succeeds, ApiPass returns the WAV file location in resultJson.resultUrls. In some responses resultJson is a JSON string, so clients should parse it before reading resultUrls.
Let users generate music in your app, then convert selected tracks to WAV for DAWs, mastering tools, publishing review, or downstream audio processing.
Offer WAV downloads for creators who need higher-quality source files than compressed MP3 outputs. Remind users that WAV files are much larger and should be downloaded promptly.
Build background jobs that convert finished tracks to WAV, parse resultJson.resultUrls, download the file, and persist it in your own storage for long-term access.
Use the correct task identifiers at each stage to avoid failed conversions and confusing query results.
input.taskId is the ApiPass task ID (task_xxx) returned by createTask for the completed suno/generate or suno/extend task; ApiPass maps it to the provider task ID automatically. The new task ID returned by this endpoint's createTask is only used to query the WAV conversion task with /api/v1/jobs/recordInfo and must not be used as the source taskId.
input.audioId must be the target track ID from the same music result referenced by input.taskId. Do not pass audioUrl, a filename, or an audio ID copied from another task.
Task states include waiting, queuing, generating, success, and fail. A successful conversion normally returns one WAV URL in resultJson.resultUrls. If resultJson is returned as a string, parse it before reading the array.
The supplied playground content lists WAV conversion at 0.4 credits per request. Check your current ApiPass dashboard for the latest billing details before production rollout.
WAV is uncompressed audio and is usually 5 to 10 times larger than the corresponding MP3. Plan storage, bandwidth, and download behavior accordingly.
Official WAV files are retained for 14 days. Download and persist any WAV assets your application needs to keep beyond the provider retention window.
First complete a Suno music generation or extension task. From the successful result, note the ApiPass taskId (task_xxx) of that music task and the target track audioId.
Send a POST request to /api/v1/jobs/createTask with model set to suno/wav and input containing taskId and audioId. Optionally include callBackUrl and channel.
Use the ApiPass task_xxx ID returned by createTask to query /api/v1/jobs/recordInfo, or wait for your callback. When state is success, parse resultJson and read resultUrls for the WAV file URL.
The API page shows the parameter schema, but Suno also has several business-specific mode combinations and callback rules that are easy to miss.
All APIs require authentication via Bearer Token.

Convert a completed apipass Suno music track to a high-quality uncompressed WAV audio file.
The API accepts a JSON payload with the following structure:
1{
2 "model": "suno/wav",
3 "callBackUrl": "string (optional)",
4 "channel": "auto",
5 "input": {
6 "taskId": "string",
7 "audioId": "string"
8 }
9}modelRequiredstringThe public model name. This value must be fixed as suno/wav.
"suno/wav"
callBackUrlOptionalstringCallback URL for task completion notifications. If omitted, no callback will be sent.
"https://your-domain.com/api/callback"
channelOptionalstringYou may specify the corresponding provider within APIPASS via the channel parameter; these providers handle the actual image and video generation tasks. APIPASS currently offers three provider options:
The default value for the channel parameter is auto. When enabled, APIPASS automatically allocates tasks across available providers based on real-time pricing and stability metrics to balance minimal cost and reliable performance. Retain the default auto value unless you have custom routing requirements.
Available options:
auto
The input object contains the WAV conversion parameters. It must be a JSON object.
input.taskIdRequiredstringThe ApiPass task ID of the completed suno/generate or suno/extend task that contains the track to convert.
Use the ApiPass task ID (task_xxx) returned by createTask for the completed suno/generate or suno/extend task; ApiPass maps it to the provider task ID automatically. Do not use the new task ID returned by this WAV conversion request.
"task_yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy"
input.audioIdRequiredstringThe specific music track ID to convert to WAV. It must belong to the apipass task referenced by input.taskId.
Use the target track ID from sunoData[].id in the apipass result, or resultJson.data[].id in an ApiPass normalized music result. Do not pass audioUrl.
"music-audio-id"
input.task_idOptionalstringAccepted alias for input.taskId. Prefer input.taskId for new integrations.
Compatibility alias for input.taskId. ApiPass normalizes this value to taskId before sending the request upstream.
"task_yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy"
input.taskOptionalstringAccepted alias for input.taskId. Prefer input.taskId for new integrations.
Compatibility alias for input.taskId. ApiPass normalizes this value to taskId before sending the request upstream.
"task_yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy"
input.audio_idOptionalstringAccepted alias for input.audioId. Prefer input.audioId for new integrations.
Compatibility alias for input.audioId. ApiPass normalizes this value to audioId before sending the request upstream.
"music-audio-id"

messageResponse message. When the request fails, this contains the error description.
data.taskIdThe newly created ApiPass WAV conversion task ID. Use this ID with the Query Task API to check conversion status and retrieve results.
